Roxy, I've been wondering forever (or at least since I found you on BlogExplosion many months ago): where the heck is the Roxiticus Valley. You've just put it together for me. (Of course, this begs the question, why not Google Map the place a long time ago, dummy?) But I digress.

This Midwestern rooted guy actually spent a day or so in scenic Peapack, in early 2001, when it was home to the late, unlamented (in my view) Pharmacia Corporation, just after that rapacious enterprise absorbed my employer, and they were romancing IT employees to relocate.

Quite lovely, really, though even eight years ago there was no affordable housing within a 90-minute commute. Of course, I'm not an investment banker, nor am I married to one. ;-)

The medium-sized shark that was Pharmacia was gulped down by an even bigger one, Pfizer, and my understanding is that there is nothing pharmaceutically related left in Peapack (except on an individual entrepreneurial recreational level, of course). ;-) Had I bitten the bullet and relocated, I probably would have soon found myself stranded, 1,000 miles or more from my roots.

Anyway, it's a beautiful part of the world. No wonder you wax so enthusiastic.
